As Savage Wilderness, we are a group that comes from all walks of life and countries. We know that togetherness is everything in society.

We would like to introduce you to our current sponsorship. A little information about organization, Sarakasi Trust.

Sarakasi Trust Hospital Project

This is one of the special projects under Sarakasi Trust, which was initiated in 2006 as an edutainment program for hospitalised children. The pilot phase started at The Mater Hospital in Nairobi. Due to its success, the activities expanded to Kenyatta National Hospital. Currently, the program runs in 9 different locations.

Most of the activities of the hospitals and partner institutions we reach out to are geared towards immediate care. This is due to limited funds and resources and therefore they are not able to provide extra activities for the children/youth. These challenging environments or life situations often create traumatic experiences. Worth noting is that, many of their parents/guardians come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot afford the cost of transport or have to work to provide for the rest of the family. As a result the children/youth in these institutions are usually idle and lack positive stimulation during their stay.

We love the different approach that Sarakasi Trust Hospital Project has on the healing. The Arts are known to get many people have a more relaxed time in hospital especially for children. We sponsored an auction, we offered a one day trip to Savage Wilderness. Our Marketing Manager, Faith, had a great time at the auction held at Tribe Hotel, Nairobi.
