On the 10th of May, Alex Aitken, James Savage and Dan Rea Dickins were going exploring and on the way up to the camp we passed over the Chania and Thika Rivers, they were in full flow. Dan was fired up to run one as we have been scouting these drops since November last year. Before we knew it we had boats ready, cameras ready and the enthusiasm was high. We scouted the drop from the Blue Post Hotel, and James had to wright a quick letter to the Management to say that Dan is completely and Medically insane. we set up the cameras and it happened dan made the jump measuring between 65 and 70 ft. unfortunately he swam at the bottom but his line was clean.
congratulations to the young river enthusiast for his new achievement. next up will be Thika Falls.
